The Writer 


Iswar Chandra Nayak

   The Author Iswar Chandra Nayak hails from Bangurush Patna a country village about twenty seven kilometer from Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, India. His father is Late Sadananda Nayak and mother Smt. Sabitri Devi. He belongs to RANGANI community (a pure vegetarian community, originally Buddhism then to Hinduism). So far he is a well known writer in the state. Being post graduate in Engineering and Education, his contributions are multi-faceted towards literature and academics. He is a bilingual author. He has so far authored eleven books out of which three are internationally published which include one Textile Engineering Academic book, two traditional knowledge books, four novels in Odia language, translated books both in English and Odia. He is also a popular columnist of the famous Newspapers  of Odisha and there are hundreds of articles on original writings, contemporary issues and a number of short stories in different Odia newspapers and magazine to his credit. He also bears the commendation to have published some articles in national and international refereed journals.
Moreover he is also a science article writer for All India Radio Talk. A number of science Talks on All India Radio he has presented so far. Besides all these, as a best teacher and educationist he has been awarded and honored by the state Government as well as by a number of prestigious organisations and institutions of the state.

The book describes the principles of designing of woven textiles of Panaipat, the city of Handloom of India. 3. ‘Weaving technique of a traditional door screen of India’ in 2012 by LAP-Lambert academy publishing, Germany. The book describes the unique and unmatched traditional knowledge which is used by the weavers of Dhalapathar village; Khordha to weave the world famous handloom craft ‘Dhalapathar Parda’ of Odisha.
